How Old Was Natsu When He Joined Fairy Tail

Alright, gather 'round, 'cause we're about to dive into the magical world of Fairy Tail, and we're gonna chat about Natsu, that fiery dragon slayer. Now, you might be wondering, "How old was Natsu when he joined Fairy Tail?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're gonna find out!

Let's Set the Scene

Imagine you're in high school, you know, that magical age where you're not quite an adult, but you're definitely not a kid anymore. That's the age Natsu was when he joined Fairy Tail. Now, I know what you're thinking, "But I'm not a dragon slayer with a pet cat who's also a dragon!" Well, neither was Natsu, not at first, anyway.

Natsu's Backstory

You see, Natsu was raised by the dragon Igneel, who was like a dad to him. So, when Igneel went missing, Natsu was determined to find him. He joined Fairy Tail, thinking they could help. Now, Fairy Tail's not your average guild. It's more like a big, magical family. And just like any family, they've got their rules. One of 'em is that you gotta be at least 16 to join.

So, when Natsu showed up, all fiery and determined, the guild master, Makarov, took one look at him and said, "Kid, you're too young!" But Natsu wasn't having it. He was like the kid who wants to stay up past his bedtime, you know? He was all, "But I can cook! I can make the best dragon's breath chili this side of Magnolia!" And Makarov, he just laughed and said, "Alright, kid. You can join. But you gotta prove yourself."

Natsu's Fairy Tail Debut

And prove himself he did. Natsu's first job was a simple one - find a lost cat. But as any Fairy Tail fan knows, nothing's ever simple in this world. That cat turned out to be a dragon, and Natsu, well, he just couldn't resist a good challenge. He joined the guild, and the rest, as they say, is history.

So, there you have it. Natsu was 16 when he joined Fairy Tail. Just a kid, really, with a dream, a dragon's roar, and a whole lot of fire in his heart. And isn't that what being a teenager is all about?
