Alright, gather 'round, 'cause we're about to dive into a tale of a young whippersnapper who took the music world by storm. You might know him as Martin Garrix, the Dutch DJ who's got more energy than a toddler on a sugar rush. Now, you're probably wondering, "How old was this little tyke when he created 'Animals'?" Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to find out!
When Was This Kid Born?
First things first, let's rewind the clock to May 14, 1996. That's right, Martin was born in the Netherlands, which means he's got more canals than Venice and more bicycles than a Tour de France starting line. Imagine him as a little tot, running around with his tiny sneakers on, already showing signs of that boundless energy that would later fuel his music.
From Birthday Parties to Main Stages
Now, fast forward to 2013. Martin's just a fresh-faced 17-year-old, probably still getting the hang of shaving, when he decides to give this music production thing a whirl. He's like a kid in a candy store, except instead of sweets, he's playing around with beats and synths. And boom! Out pops 'Animals' - a track that would soon become his breakthrough hit.
Must Read
But hold your horses, we're not done yet. You won't believe this, but Martin was still under 18 when 'Animals' was released. That's right, he was a teenager, probably still asking his mom for pocket money, while his track was already blowing up on the charts. Talk about a quick rise to fame!

From Teenage Bedroom to World Stages
Picture this: Martin, in his parents' house, probably in his PJs, messing around with some software on his laptop. He's not thinking about the future, he's just having fun, creating something that would soon become a global phenomenon. It's like when you're in the kitchen, just messing around with some ingredients, and suddenly, you've got a five-star dish on your hands.
And then, the magic happens. 'Animals' drops, and it's like a wild beast let loose into the music scene. It's everywhere - on the radio, in clubs, even in those cheesy workout videos your aunt shares on Facebook. Martin's gone from being just another teenager to a global superstar, all in the blink of an eye.
