How Old Was Elizabeth When She Met Meliodas

So, I was watching this episode of "Nanatsu no Taizai" the other day, you know, the one where Elizabeth and Meliodas first lock eyes? I mean, who hasn't seen that episode a hundred times, right? wink Anyway, it got me thinking, just how old was our beloved princess when she met the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins?

Elizabeth's Age: A Mystery?

Funny thing is, the show doesn't really give us a straight answer on this one. I mean, come on, Seven Deadly Sins, you couldn't throw us a bone here? But then again, I guess it's not that important in the grand scheme of things. I mean, we're all here for the action, the drama, and, let's be real, the hilarious banter between Meliodas and Hawk. laughs

So, Let's Do Some Sleuthing

Alright, so we know that Elizabeth is the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones. We also know that she's the reincarnation of the Goddess Elizabeth, who was sealed away a thousand years ago. Now, the Goddess Elizabeth was around 16 when she was sealed, so that's our starting point.

Now, let's fast forward to the present. When Elizabeth meets Meliodas, she's been living in the Boar Hat for about a year. Before that, she was living in the castle, but she ran away after her father, the king, was killed. So, she's been on her own for a while, trying to find the Seven Deadly Sins to help her take back her kingdom.

Now, here's where it gets a bit tricky. We don't know exactly how old Elizabeth was when she started her journey. But we do know that she was around 16 when she was crowned princess. So, if we assume that she started her journey soon after her coronation, she would be around 17 when she meets Meliodas.

But Wait, There's More

Now, here's where things get interesting. Remember, Elizabeth is a reincarnation. She's lived a thousand years in the form of the Goddess Elizabeth, and now she's living a second life. So, is her age based on her time as the goddess, or her time as the princess?

I mean, think about it. She's lived a thousand years, but she only has the memories of her time as the goddess. So, in a way, she's kind of like a teenager with a thousand years of wisdom. Isn't that just the most Elizabeth thing ever? chuckles

But seriously, folks, it doesn't really matter how old Elizabeth was. What matters is that she found Meliodas, and together, they started on the path to taking back her kingdom. And isn't that what really counts? smiles
