So, why is it cool that Darby was 13 playing a 12-year-old? Well, for starters, it just goes to show how talented she is. I mean, she's been acting since she was just a little kid, and she's clearly got the chops to pull off a role that's a year younger than her. Plus, it's always fun to see a young actor playing a character that's a bit younger than they are in real life, don't you think?

But let's not forget, Darby's not just an actor, she's also a singer and a songwriter. I mean, can this kid do anything? She released her debut single, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting)," in 2018, and it's actually pretty darn good. I mean, who wouldn't want to listen to a Christmas song sung by a kid who's been in not one, but two Christmas movies?
