How Old Is Robin In Season 4 Of Stranger Things

So, there I was, binge-watching Stranger Things for the millionth time, when it hit me. I mean, really hit me. I was suddenly consumed by this burning question that had been lurking in the shadows of my mind, much like the Mind Flayer in the Upside Down. How old is Robin in Season 4?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Dude, it's just a TV show. Who cares about Robin's age?" Well, let me tell you, friend, I care. I care because Robin is a badass, and I want to know how many years of badassery she's packed into her young life.

Let's Do the Math

Alright, so we know that Season 4 of Stranger Things is set in the summer of 1986. Robin, played by the incredibly talented Maya Hawke, is introduced to us in Season 3. In that season, we learn that she's a high school student working at the Scoops Ahoy ice cream shop. Now, here's where it gets interesting.

In Season 3, Robin is working at Scoops Ahoy to earn money for college. She's planning to study journalism, which means she's likely to be a senior in high school. If we assume that she's 17 or 18 years old in Season 3, that would make her 18 or 19 in Season 4.

But Wait, There's More

Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good, but what if Robin is a bit older? What if she's a repeat senior, or she took a gap year?" Well, my friend, you're right. We can't be 100% sure about Robin's age. But let's not forget, she's still a teenager. She's not some ancient, wise sage who's seen a hundred summers. She's young, she's fierce, and she's ready to take on the world. Or at least, the Upside Down.

So, there you have it. Robin is likely 18 or 19 years old in Season 4 of Stranger Things. But hey, who knows? Maybe the Duffer Brothers have some big age reveal planned for us in Season 5. Until then, let's just enjoy the show and appreciate the badassery of our favorite Russian-speaking journalist.
