So, there I was, binge-watching Malcolm in the Middle the other day, you know, just for old times' sake. I mean, who doesn't love a good dose of Francis' antics or Reese's, well, reese-ness? But then it hit me, how old is Reese from Malcolm in the Middle anyway? I mean, the kid's been through a lot, from being the middle child to dealing with his genius brother, so he must be, what, like 40 by now? Right?
Well, let's rewind a bit. Malcolm in the Middle first aired in 2000, and the show ran for seven seasons until 2006. Now, if you're doing the math in your head, you're probably thinking, "Okay, so Reese would be in his mid-30s by now." But hold your horses, because here's where it gets a bit tricky.
Reese's Age in the Show
In the show, Reese was played by Justin Berfield, who was actually born on February 25, 1986. That means, when the show started, he was just a wee 14-year-old. Yep, you read that right. So, if we're talking about Reese's age in the show, he was a teenager throughout the entire series.
Must Read
But here's where things get interesting. The show might have ended in 2006, but Justin Berfield, the actor who played Reese, was only 20 when the final episode aired. So, if we're talking about Justin Berfield's age, he was a young adult when the show ended, not the 30-something we might have imagined Reese to be.
Justin Berfield Today
Now, fast forward to today. Justin Berfield is 36 years old, as of 2022. That's right, he's not a teenager anymore, and he's definitely not in his 20s. He's a full-blown adult, living his best life, probably reminiscing about the good old days of being the mischievous Reese. I mean, who wouldn't?
Justin Berfield Comes Out
So, there you have it. Reese from Malcolm in the Middle was a teenager in the show, and Justin Berfield, the actor who played him, is now a 36-year-old man. Isn't it crazy how time flies? It feels like just yesterday we were laughing at Reese's schemes and Francis' escapades. But hey, that's the magic of TV, right?
Anyway, I hope this little trip down memory lane cleared up the mystery of Reese's age. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some more Malcolm in the Middle episodes to catch up on. Until next time, folks!
