So, How Old Is Jet, You Ask?
Alright, gather 'round, folks. Let me spin you a yarn about the age of a certain someone from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Now, I know what you're thinking, "But Jet was only in one season, how can he have an age?" Well, hold onto your seats, 'cause we're about to dive into the world of bending, betrayals, and birthdays.
Let's Start at the Beginning
Imagine, if you will, a young boy named Zuko, all fiery and angsty, running around the world with his uncle Iroh, searching for the Avatar. Meanwhile, in the Earth Kingdom, there's this other kid, Jet, who's got a chip on his shoulder the size of a boulder. Now, we never see Jet's birthdate flash across the screen, but we can make some educated guesses.
First off, let's consider the timeline. Avatar: The Last Airbender takes place over the course of three years, starting when Zuko is 13. Now, Jet's first appearance is in the episode "The Earth King," which is right around the middle of the series. So, if we're playing the "when in doubt, average it out" game, Jet is probably around 15 or 16 when we first meet him.

But Wait, There's More!
Now, here's where things get a little tricky. Remember how I said Jet was only in one season? Well, that's not entirely true. See, Jet's story continues in the sequel series, The Legend of Korra, set 70 years later. That's right, folks! Jet's a time-traveling, ageless wonder!
Jet Avatar
Just kidding. No, what actually happens is that Jet's story gets picked up by a character named Lin Beifong, who becomes the Earthbending teacher at Republic City's police force. Lin was a member of the Freedom Fighters with Jet, and she carries on his legacy. So, while Jet himself doesn't age, his influence certainly does.
So, How Old Is He?
Alright, let's put on our thinking caps and do some math. If Jet is around 15 or 16 when we first meet him, and The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years later, that would make Jet... carry the one... 85 or 86! That's right, folks! Jet is older than your grandma's favorite rocking chair!

But seriously, folks, while we can't know Jet's exact age, we can appreciate the impact he had on the world of Avatar. He might not have been around for long, but his legacy lived on, just like a good cup of coffee in the morning.
And there you have it, the age of Jet, or at least our best guess. Now, who's ready for another round of bending trivia?
