So, I was binge-watching Euphoria the other day, and I found myself wondering, "How old are these kids supposed to be again?" I mean, they're dealing with some heavy stuff, but they still look like they could be in my niece's middle school. It got me thinking, let's dive into the ages of our favorite Euphoria characters in Season 3.
Rue Bennett - Zendaya
Alright, let's start with Rue. She's our narrator, our guide through the twisted, beautiful mess that is Euphoria. Zendaya, who plays Rue, was born on September 1, 1996, making her 25 years old as of Season 3. But Rue? Well, that's a bit trickier. The show is set in the fictional town of East Highland, and we're told Rue is a high school student. But with her experiences and the seriousness of her struggles, it's hard to pinpoint an exact age.
I mean, have you seen her drug use and the consequences she's facing? She's dealing with adult issues, but she's still supposed to be in high school. It's a bit of a mind-bender, isn't it? But hey, that's Euphoria for you - it's not your average teen drama.
Must Read
Jules Vaughn - Hunter Schafer
Now, let's talk about Jules. Hunter Schafer, the actress who plays her, was born on January 30, 1999, which makes her 23 in Season 3. But Jules? She's a high school student, just like Rue. We meet her in Season 1 as a freshman, and she's been navigating her relationships and identity ever since.
Jules has gone through a lot of growth and change, from her relationship with Rue to her exploration of her own sexuality. But despite all that, she's still supposed to be a teenager. It's a reminder that even in the midst of serious topics, these are still young characters figuring things out.
