What Does Lorenzo Lamas Do For A Living

So, you’re wondering: what does Lorenzo Lamas do for a living? It’s a fair question, because the guy’s career is like a fun Netflix menu—there’s a little bit of everything. You might remember him as the swooping, leather-clad hero from Renegade, or maybe as the cool stepdad in The Bold and the Beautiful. But trust me, his hustle goes way beyond just being a TV star from the ‘90s.

Let’s start with the obvious: acting. That’s his bread and butter, and he’s been at it since the 1970s. You’ve seen him in Grease as the singing, leather-jacket-wearing Tom Chisum, right? He’s also the guy who fought ninjas and bad guys in Silent Fury and a bunch of direct-to-video action flicks. Basically, if a movie needed a handsome dude who could throw a punch and flip his hair, Lorenzo was your guy.

But here’s the cool twist: he didn’t just stop there. While most actors fade into the background, Lamas turned his fame into a whole lifestyle brand. He became a reality TV star on shows like Leave It to Lamas, where we saw him juggling his five kids and three ex-wives. It was messy, funny, and totally relatable—like watching your cool uncle try to plan a birthday party for six people.

Ever heard of reality karaoke? Yeah, that’s a thing, and Lorenzo was on The Surreal Life, living in a house with washed-up celebs. He even tried his hand at professional wrestling for a hot minute in the 1990s. Imagine him in a spandex suit, strutting into the ring with a glint in his eye—it’s peak 90s cheese, and honestly, I love it.

The Real Estate Rockstar

Now, here’s the part that might surprise you. When he isn’t on camera, Lorenzo is a full-time real estate investor. Yes, he flips houses! He’s been buying, renovating, and selling properties in Los Angeles for years. Think of it as the grown-up version of his action hero days—except instead of chasing bad guys, he’s negotiating with contractors over tile colors.

He even shared his tips on flipping homes in a 2018 interview, saying it’s all about patience and knowing your market. Who knew the guy who drove a Harley on TV could also talk about zoning laws? It’s a smart move, honestly. Real estate gives him a steady paycheck when Hollywood doesn’t call.

Wait, Does He Still Act?

Oh, absolutely! He’s not retired. In fact, he keeps popping up in soap operas and indie films. He returned to The Bold and the Beautiful in 2023 for a guest stint, and he’s been in a few Spanish-language telenovelas too. It’s like he’s got one foot in Hollywood and one foot in the real world—he’s living the best of both.

He also does voice work for video games and cartoons. Remember Grand Theft Auto? He voiced a character in GTA: Vice City. So, if you ever robbed a virtual store and heard a familiar smoldering voice, that might have been Lorenzo.

The Side Hustle King

Lorenzo is also a martial arts enthusiast—he holds a black belt in Kenpo karate. He used to teach self-defense classes and even released a few workout DVDs. Can you imagine doing karate chops to a Lorenzo Lamas soundtrack? That’s the kind of retro fitness we need in our lives.

And get this: he owns a line of cigars. Yes, he launched a brand called “Lamas Cigars” a few years back. It’s like he looked at his resume and thought, “I’m an actor, a wrestler, a flipper, and now I need a good smoke.” It’s a quirky, unexpected move—kind of like if your high school gym teacher suddenly started a wine label.

So, What’s His Vibe Now?

These days, Lorenzo Lamas is basically the cool, weathered veteran of pop culture. He’s not trying to be a superstar anymore—he’s just doing what he loves. He posts on Instagram about his motorcycles, his real estate projects, and his grandkids. It’s like watching a retired rockstar who still plays small clubs because he enjoys it.

He even does conventions now. You can pay to get a selfie with him at a comic con, and he’ll talk your ear off about the good old days. He seems genuinely happy to meet fans, which is refreshing in a world of aloof celebrities.

So, what does Lorenzo Lamas do for a living? He does everything. He’s an actor, a flipper, a wrestler, a cigar smoker, a voice actor, a reality star, and a grandpa who never quit. He’s living proof that a career can be a wild, winding road—and that’s pretty darn cool.
